Downtown weddings, the best! Loved every single thing about this wedding…

I started chatting with Laura nearly a year ago when their wedding was planned for Addison Grove in Austin. After a few months, she and Matt realized it didn’t feel right and quickly found a new venue in Dallas, where they currently live. After arriving to 400 North Ervay for a little pre-wedding scouting, we fell head over heels in love with the simplicity and beauty of the rooftop setting. It immediately felt so Matt and Laura.

And it so was. From the warm welcome hugs received from both Matt and Laura, to their unique ceremony moment of speaking to each member of the bridal party (so many tears), and their sunset first dances. I can’t imaging a more perfect day for these two, their families, closest friends, and for us to capture. It certainly rekindled my love for city weddings, and reminded me just how wonderful my couples are and the gift that comes with joining them in such an involved, intimate role. Matt and Laura, I can’t thank you enough for your friendship and all around goodness you bring to those who know you. You two are the best!
