Chandler and Amy are two of our dearest friends, and they’re getting married this February at the amazing Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan. Chandler’s home state and obsession.
While I’ll be stepping aside for their wedding to support day-of coordination, my girl Jenna with Jenna Marie Photography will be taking the reigns in capturing their beautiful winter wedding day. And my husband Luke will be standing as a groomsman next to Chandler in support of their vows and covenant to each other in marriage. I can’t wait for that day, can’t wait for the tears and emotion we’ll all be experiencing, and seeing all of our efforts and butterflies come together that day.
For their engagement session (my wedding gift to them), we headed to Amy’s hood, Pilsen. The “next great Chicago neighborhood”, or so they say. We started on the 18th Street bridge, overlooking one of the more unique or untapped skyline views of the city where we all met, where we did life together. From there, we walked the river in Ping Tom Park. Lined with industrial buildings, bridges, and willow trees. It was the perfect backdrop for their session, and where Amy does her 3-mile weekly runs. So impressive…
Love you two! xx
