As the 2015 wedding season is complete, and 2015 is coming to an end, I can’t imagine reflecting back on the year and finishing the season alongside any other couple.

William and Shannon have a kindness about them that is contagious and so evident. I felt that upon meeting them for the first time, their willingness to stick with me even when their date changed (crazy medical conference!), and walking around Lincoln Park for their engagement session talking about marriage and Austin.

That kindness, I quickly found out, comes from the love their family has for each other. The laughter, smiles, tears, prayers, toasts, polka dance (amazing!), and Will’s father officiating the wedding. All reasons I walked away from this wedding with some much love in my heart, knowing this is why I do what I do. And excited to continue in that journey of capturing couples’ unique and magical days.
